Headquartered in Belfast, Northern Ireland, Nimbus has enjoyed significant contract wins recently, which when added to their impressive 100% customer retention success over the last three years, now sees the business supporting customers in both local and international markets.
Recruitment is already underway, and while there are opportunities within business support departments, most of the new roles are primarily client facing, with opportunities including; technical support, project management & consultancy, sales, and account management.
In the short period of 10 years since it was founded, Nimbus is now regarded as one of Northern Ireland’s leading managed IT, cloud, and cyber security companies, providing an award-winning level of service for their clients. The new roles will give staff the opportunity to work alongside some of the biggest names in the FinTech, manufacturing and professional services sectors, as well as carrying out large long-term project work in Northern Ireland, Republic of Ireland and UK markets.
Speaking about the job investment, Nimbus’ MD, Gareth McAlister said:
“The recruitment market within the IT sector, and indeed the wider tech arena, remains challenging, however, our success in recruiting has been attributed to enabling our people to help clients solve challenges, whilst also allowing them to cut their teeth in a vast array of technology solutions across a diverse range of client sectors. This is all underpinned by a culture where we continually invest in our people.
The growth we are experiencing is largely down to our response to the changing landscape resulting from the pandemic, and also broadening our services portfolio by investing heavily in automation to drive confidence in cybersecurity, compliance, cloud adaptation and the ongoing maintenance of IT systems.
We believe our customers deserve the best service and support in the market and by combining our investment in our technology products with our strong vendor partnerships, and underpinning this with Nimbus’s passion for growing and developing our people and skills, we have been recognised, through multiple awards, as an industry leader within the service sector.
In a volatile marketplace, with significant cost pressures emerging, Nimbus continues to innovate and grow our client portfolio, and we see these roles as a crucial step in our continued growth for 2023 and our wider company journey.”
